These default rates were pulled from your interior pricing worksheet and confirmed corrections. Paint coverage rates (sqft or linear ft per gallon) are estimates — adjust to match your actual Sherwin-Williams product coverage.
Door and window rates (in the Doors/Windows sections below) are the time for one coat of a whole item — the "Coats — Doors & Windows" setting above multiplies that up for however many coats you select, same as walls/ceilings/trim.
All window prep includes a light sand & spackle — that's standard across every frame type below, not just "Regular Frame."
Minor spot spackling and light sanding are always included in the standard wall/trim/window prep above. These are additional items beyond that baseline. * = required by law on pre-1978 housing (EPA RRP Rule).
Paint types & pricing — used to price out whatever paint product each job uses. Add as many as you need (e.g. Standard, Premium, specific product lines); pick which one applies to each paint category down in Job Totals.
Supply costs are always at the estimator's discretion — the suggestions are a starting point, not a rule. Some jobs will need more. Entering a number here updates the Estimated Total Job Cost above immediately.
Multiplied against total job hours (below) for the labor cost line in Job Costs.
Starting placeholder rates — same idea as the interior ones: adjust every number here to match your actual production speed and pricing. These haven't been tuned to your numbers yet the way the interior rates have.
Uses the same "each additional coat time" percentage as the interior rates panel.
Paint types & pricing for the job are shared with the Interior tab's paint list — set prices there, pick which one applies to siding/trim/deck-fence down in Exterior Job Totals.
Double-check these against the actual PDF — once you click Apply, they'll fill in (or update) the Front/Right/Left/Back sides' siding square footage below.
Shared with the Interior tab's labor rate — change it there.
